Orchids, orchid supplies and orchid books are our main product lines. We specialize in Paphiopedilums, Phragmipediums and unique species and hybrids. We also offer Nepenthes.

A change to REGULAR WALK-IN RETAIL HOURS:
We are open Tuesday through Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM. Closed Sundays, Mondays and Major Holidays.
We are now CLOSED MONDAYS to walk-in retail. We do take PHONE orders and ship orders on Monday, if it is not a holiday.
Regular walk-in retail hours are TUESDAY through SATURDAY, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. CLOSED SUNDAY, MONDAY & Major Holidays.
If you would like to visit our nursery, we are located on the west side of Minneapolis at 4630 Fernbrook Lane North, in Plymouth, Minnesota 55446. To get to us, take the Rockford Road exit (County Road 9) off of I-494 on the west side of the city. Go west two blocks to Fernbrook Lane. Turn right. We are located 1/2 mile north of County Road 9 on the right hand side. Look for our sign.

We carefully pack your orchids and protect them from freezing by lining the boxes with styrofoam planks and include heat packs that last for 2-3 days.
As always, we closely monitor the weather. If temperature conditions are too cold (low teens or near zero) we may hold a shipment until the weather improves. We will notify you by e-mail if weather becomes a problem.
WHEN DO WE SHIP?
Placing an order during regular hours does not guarantee same-day shipping.
Shipping days are subject to change depending on
date and time order is received, plant availability and
when extreme weather conditions exist.
(Please note: FedEx Express Saver and USPS options are NOT available
when temperatures are too hot or too cold.)

FedEx 2-Day shipments go out Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The last day to ship via 2-day is Wednesday, February 8 for arrival Friday, February 10. (NO weekend deliveries.) Orders must be placed by NOON (CST) on Wednesday, February 8.
FedEx Overnight shipments go out Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The last day to ship Overnight is Thursday, February 9 for arrival Friday February 10. (NO weekend deliveries.) Orders must be placed by NOON (CST) on Thursday, February 9.
Week of February 13
Monday, February 13 is the last day to ship via FedEx Overnight for arrival on Tuesday, February 14 Valentine’s Day. Orders must be placed by NOON (CST) on Monday, February 13.
We do not ship on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Any orders placed over the weekend of Feb 11-12 with a FedEx 2-day shipping option will arrive after Valentine’s Day.

these are shipped directly from the manufacturer by UPS.
For Orchidariums, please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery,

March 30th-April 29th, Minnesota Landscape Arboretum orchid exhibit
Orchids Limited will set up an elaborate display of orchids at the U of MN Landscape Arboretum in Chaska, MN. This event runs for an entire month and will have different orchids on display each week. Orchids will also be available for sale in the gift shop.
April 3rd, US Botanic Gardens, Washington D.C.
Jason Fischer will be speaking about the traditional Neofinetia falcata of Japan as part of the National Cherry Blossom Festival held every year in D.C. 2012 marks the 100th anniversary of this event! Pre-orders are welcome. However, since this lecture is being held in a government facility, sales of orchids on site are not allowed. Pre-order delivery is permissible.
April 15th, Orchid Society of Western Pennsylvania

June 3rd, Southern Ontario Orchid Society, Canada
Jason Fischer will speak on Phragmipediums.
Pre-orders are welcome, and plants will be brought in for sale as well. Society member pre-orders are subject to a 10% handling fee (Ex. $100 plants + $10 handling fee). Please understand that when we fly into Canada, we have limited space on the plane, and we pay $500 to $700 in extra baggage fee for the boxes, which is why we have to charge handling fees to help cover these expenses.
Non-society members (people we are shipping to out of Toronto) are subject to a 15% handling fee.
