Description
Join Us for Our First In-Person Class on The History and Culture of Neofinetia falcata!
We’re excited to account this class, exploring the rich history and culture of the East Asian gem, Neofinetia falcata! This charming miniature orchid, native to Japan, Korea, and China, has long held prestige among collectors. With hundreds of registered varieties, it’s a plant revered for its aesthetics—even in traditional judging, flowers aren't required!
The beauty of Neofinetia falcata lies in the entire plant structure: the foliage, the moss mound, the root system, and the display container are all integral to its appreciation. In this class, we’ll even try hands-on moss-mounding techniques, as taught to Jason by his late mentor, Mr. Kunou of Shunjuen Nursery in Japan.
This is a unique experience you won’t want to miss! Plus, you’ll get a sneak peek at our newly improved classroom, which will soon double as our events room.
As a bonus, all students will receive a 10% discount on purchases made during the day.
