Description
This new backcross was registered just recently in 2021. There is currently no photo evidence that exist of this hybrid, but the concept is very exciting as Crestwood is a very high flower count hybrid. Back-crossing Crestwood onto sesquipedale will most likely produce larger flowers with a higher flower count than sesquipedale, and potentially faster growth.
These will grow the fastest in warm conditions as they are low-elevation plants from Madagascar.
Our current batches are in 3" pots with 7 to 8 inch leaf spans. We expect some to reach blooming size in winter of 2024, or 2025 as they are growing quite well for us.
Pictured here are the parents, sesquipedale on the left and Crestwood on the right.
