Description
*Note - this batch has some spotting under the foliage, most likely due to the high humidity of the summer here. We have treated them with fungicide as a precautionary measure, and it is cosmetic on the undersides of the foliage. Priced accordingly. If you purchased one previously, and it developed spots, please let us know, and we will credit you the difference.
Native to coastal forests of Madagascar, this Angraecoid species is a very hardy grower as in the wild it can be found at elevations from 30 to 2000 meters above sea level! Cool to warm conditions will work with low to low/medium light. This species also makes for a great slab plant, and despite their long inflorescences, the plants grow upright in the wild and should be mounted that way.
Fantastic plants with multiple flower stems, as the example photos show. The flowers are also fragrant in the evening.
These are well-established and repotted into sphagnum moss. We left the original 2" basket core in the center as it is root-bound, and this avoids damaging roots.
