This a mounted specimen from our collection. This species is widespread across southeast Asia from India to Vietnam to China, Thailand and Burma. In the wild, this orchid exhibits a lithophytic habit, growing on rock outcrops. This species has evolved to be this resilient to a wide temperature range, as well as to drying out between watering. When in bloom, the beautiful white and orange tipped flowers emit a nice sweet fragrance - a relatively rare trait in this genus!
