Native to Papua New Guinea, this species is the largest of the Bulbophyllum! This species gets its name from having foliage (not flowers) that are similar to Phalaenopsis. Well known for its long leaves and clusters of red, hirsute, stinky flowers. Current offerings are 5" pot plants expected to flower within 2 to 3 years if grown hot & humid. The first two photos show what the plants look like when grown to an old, specimen size.
