A native to Borneo growing on limestone in lowland forests, which makes this plant grow best if it is kept warm and humid. This is a rare species with beautiful tessellated foliage. We grow them in bulb pan pots with moss, or they can also do well on moss poles as they like to grow upwards in a spiral pattern, wrapping themselves around the pole. These are fairly slow-growing for us, producing about one leaf per year. Although we think they will grow faster in a hot and humid area like Southern Florida etc.
