This fantastic new cross has spectacular orange flowers with yellow and purple in the lip. The flowers are large in size and the plant size is compact to small for the type. The flowers have a really great intoxicating fragrance. We made this cross in 2008. Grow in medium to high light with intermediate to warm temps. Water as the mix just dries out or if in bud or bloom water when the mix approaches dryness. You can really see how Cattleya dowiana aurea is in the background of this cross. The flowers have good substance. Since these are seed grown expect some variation in color. The photo is of the very first plant to bloom.
