The highly sought-after red blush color form of dowiana, rosita! A native to Colombia and Costa Rica, it is the only cattleya species of the labiata group that has yellow sepals and petals on the standard form, and the rosita form is an exceptionally impressive color form.

This plant likes to grow in warm conditions, and likes the potting medium to be airy and dry quickly. The easiest way to do so is in baskets or in unglazed clay pots with sphagnum moss. We will ship them in plastic pots with moss, to keep the weight light. We can grow these in plastic pots as well, but we are mindful to let the moss dry before watering them again.
