This is a selfing of the famous awarded 'Chadwick's Dark' clone, which is a standard more compact maxima height (not the tall cane, less cold tolerant type). The flowers are large (5" across) and dark purple in color with a yellow stripe down the center of the lip. This species is from Peru and is known for its elegant flower with sweet fragrance. This is an intermediate to warm grower which can take evening temperatures down to the low 50's.

We expect these plantd to reach blooming size by 2026. Well-established plants growing in 3.25" square pots with moss.
