Description
The standard form of warscewiczii, which is the also known as the largest Cattleya species of them all. Native to Columbia, this is an easy-to-grow species that we are growing in New Zealand sphagnum moss in plastic pots. The current batch should reach blooming size by the summer of 2025. Originally known as Cattleya gigas. Big, showy & fragrant. A true classic!
It is recommended to keep this species on the dry side when new growth is not present, or before the new growth reaches about 6 to 8 inches tall.
