This cross was originally made by the famous Rod McLellan Company in 1965. Its a cross of Encyclia cordigera with Encyclia Gail Nakagaki which is a cross between Encyclia cordigera and Encyclia alata and was made in 1955 by Mr./Mrs. S. Noda. This is a really fine hybrid that has a nice upright spike with a number of 2" flowers that have a nice fragrance. The flowers last for 2-3 months. This plant is from our stud collection and we have had it for many years. The plant is in a 8" pot and has 16 pseudobulbs (some don't have leaves but are still green. This is an excellent opportunity to own one of our treasures. There is only one. The photo is of the actual plant and it is in flower as of 05/10/2022.
