A beautiful species from Mexico, Central America and Panama. The picture does not do justice to the massive size of the plant and flower. They grow pendulously (leaves drooping down about 4 feet) and produce huge flowers that are 5 inches across and 7 inches from top dorsal to bottom petal. Fragrant in the evenings when in flower.
