Description
The lovely Laelia anceps comes from Mexico (also known as 'El Toro' in Mexico) and Honduras, and is a Southern California favorite as it can be grown outdoors year-round in SoCal, and several areas in FL.
Both ‘John Tucker' and ‘Zenith are the dawsonii form and came from 'Sanbar Marble King' x self.
Our current batch was bred by James Rose of Cal Orchid, and their anceps are always a treat! They are in 6" bulb pan pots and have just reached blooming size. We expect to see the flower spikes by the summer of 2025.
