A popular species from Mexico and Honduras, this plant is often collected and grown outdoors in southern California. The clone 'Sierra Orientalis' produces classic-shaped flowers, while 'Walburn' is one of the more round petal types. We recommend growing this orchid in coarse bark, or even sphagnum moss. It is commonly mounted on trees in both Southern California and Southern FL.

When listed in spike please remember that these usually flower in the fall starting from October through Late November.
