We have 2 excellent clones of this rare color form of the species. We grew these from seed and flowered them out. We only kept the best clones. This is a hardy plant that can tolerate cold to hot temps. They like lots of light and grow on scrubby vellozia trees. They also grow on sandstone rock shelves and the roots often dive into leaf litter or find their way into crevices where there is moisture stored. In winter the plants go through a dry spell so water less often and don't fertilize until spring when new growth begins and you can see roots emerging at the base. Allow the potting mix to become just dry between watering.
