Description
The view day is Saturday 8/10! Choose 'curbside pickup' when completing your purchase.

After brainstorming how we can have people view the corpse flower, we decided the best way to handle this would be with a paid tour.

Normally, when this flower is announced at botanical gardens and universities, you will stand in line for 2 to 3 hours and have a very short viewing period of the corpse as hundreds of spectators show up to this rare event. To give you an idea of the rarity, for us, these bloom once every 3 to 4 years. The flower is viewable for about 2 days total (the day it opens, and the following day while it closes), with the actual peak only lasting 4 hours. Be warned, it stinks! There is a quick outdoor access door if you need a breath of fresh air, but it is tolerable :). The flowering peak is typically in the evening.

Our tours will offer a personal experience of small groups of 12 people per time slot, with Jason Fischer (manager and co-owner) going over the details of this magnificent flower. The time slots are limited to 20 minutes per group, after which you have 20 minutes to see the retail shop if you would like to make any purchases. This time flow allows our parking to accommodate the next tour group.

We are offering two types of tours!

Day Tour: This is during the daytime at 20-minute time increments for $20 per person.

Evening Tour: The evening tour has two slots. 6PM to 6:30PM and 6:45PM to 7:15PM, and includes refreshments and an Amorphophallus konjac to take home so you can try your hands at a corpse flower! $60 per person. We will have some plants in the room of the corpse flower for sale if you would like since the retail store will be closed at that time.

**If you cannot order the number of slots you are trying to, this means there are not enough spaces open for your total sign-ups and you will have to lower the quantity**

**Please note, we apologize but the location of this plant is not accessible to handicapped people**
