Description
A classic Cymbidium which can also flower in the summer season (unlike standards which only bloom in the later winter/early spring). These also have a nice fragrance as well. Named after one of the the past presidents of the American Orchid Society who has also been a great influence on on orchid breeding as well.
As will all Cymbidiums, they prefer to be tight in the pot which helps them flower. These grow best in small to medium bark or coconut husk. They can handle outdoor temperatures down close to freezing (provide the plants are not too wet at the roots) and heat up into the high 90's low 100's.
