Individual listing. This is a variegated Cym. dayanum which comes from China. It has tall grass-like leaves with white marginal variegation. This plant looks similar to a variegated grass! The flowers are pendulous, dark red in color with a white background and fragrant. We plant asian cymbidiums in sphagnum moss for shipping purposes. Although Cym. dayanum is easier to grow than goeringii, a very well-drained mixture is recommended such as 100% pumice or fish aquarium gravel (this works best for us). Other people have had luck with bark and lots of extra perlite.
