This Dendrobium hybrid is in the section Latouria (also known as a New Guinea Dendrobium). The flowers are green with dark purple veins in the lip. These particular plants will easily become specimen plants with large flowers that will be long lasting on upright spikes. They are free blooming and can bloom twice per year. Each growth can bloom up to 3 times. The flowers can last 2 to 3 months on each spike. These plants have just reached blooming size and are very lush with lots of growths. Even without flowers, the foliage has a very ornamental appearance.

The flower photo used is an example which is actually Excelsa x convolutum. The flowers are nearly identical with this cross sometimes expressing more green color. It will also stay more compact than the convolutum cross.
