Description
This interesting species is native to Luzon and Mindanao, growing at 2500 to 3,000 feet above sea level. The plant habit is similar to Dendrobium papilio but shorter and more compact in terms of pseudobulb height. These plants require moist conditions at the roots, good humidity and intermediate to warm temps. The inch and a half to 2 inch flowers are long lasting. This plant seems to flower every month or so. This is a great species to add to any collection.
