Nicknamed the pigeon orchid, this plant has a wide distribution being native to Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Sri Lanka, Andaman Islands, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Lesser Sunda Islands, Moluccas, Sulawesi, Sumatra, New Guinea, Christmas Islands, Guam and the Philippines.

Wide distribution = easy-to-grow! Enjoy these flowers when they open, as each time they bloom, the flowers only last for part of the day! They have a nice fragrance to them, and flower once they are budded and the temperature drops at night. Larger plants can flower several times in a season, so when they are established, you will see flowers for more than just 1 day a year!
