Description
This form of parishii is species is native to southeast Asia and is a fantastic Variety of the species. Flowering occurs in late winter to early spring with very fragrant inch and a half to two inch flowers that last for about a month. This is also known as the hand orchid as the canes or pseudobulbs look like fingers. The flower color is white with two burgundy colored eyes in the lip. The fragrance is reminiscent of raspberries and cream. These are deciduous and will lose their leaves in winter or spring just before or as they are flowering. These plants are sometimes called the hand orchid as the canes resemble fingers.
