A species native to Vietnam. Similar to cruentum, but with larger flowers. This is one of the nigro-hirsute (black-haired cane) Dendrobiums and is tolerant of a wide range of temperatures, but does best in warm to hot conditions. Keep somewhat drier at the roots in winter and provide more even moisture during spring and summer months.

Current plants are potted in 3" Pots with sphagnum moss and about 1-2 years from blooming size.
