Description
Wild and wispy, this Dendrobium species (native to Java) has an interesting growth habit, the pseudobulbs are swollen like marbles near the base; they have tall thin stems with semiterete shaped leaves. Short-lived, small, fragrant white flowers appear at any time of the year at the end of the stems. This is a plant that we consider to be a miniature to near miniature. These like medium to bright light and can be grown in pots with New Zealand sphagnum moss or a bark mix, and they do quite well on slabs of wood or cork. Water as the potting mix just dries out. Easy to grow and flower.
