A warm growing species from Brazil, this plant was once fairly common in the orchid trade. The plant is compact in growth habit and has beautiful 3 inch flowers colored in ivory white with purple spots that coalesce. Grow in low to medium light in intermediate to warm conditions and water as the potting mix approaches dryness. The flowers last about 2 months and have a slight fragrance.
