Native to South America, this banana plant produces smaller sized but thicker fruit with a tropical creamy flavor unlike what you'd find in the grocery store. At full maturity this plant grows upwards of 17 ft. with leaves that measure 2 ft wide and 6 ft long. We occasionally offer divisions from our mother plant, which graces us and our staff with delicious bananas every 1 to 2 years. After fruiting, the mother plant dies and sends out a side growth or two for subsequent fruiting.
