Description
Another unknown hybrid division from Japan, possibly selected from a batch of 'Kibana'. 'Gokuki' translates to 'extreme yellow', due to their deeper yellow than other kibana types. The fragrance is also more sweet than standard Neofinetia. Gokuki has a somewhat sprawly growth habit, and can sometimes twist and turn. It produces very long roots, therefore our current divisions are all in moss but are planted in standard pots as the roots are very long. If you want to moss mound them, cutting off about 1/2 the root system is necessary, but should not really harm the plant. This plant also produces some red pigment on the leaves.
