Choukou means 'Beyond Red'. Divisions from one of the darkest pink Neofinetia around! It is uncertain if this is a species or hybrid, but most lean towards hybrid. The only other possibility is that this is a tetraploid of a color variety. Either way, it is well-known amongst the flower collectors of Japan and Korea and it quite a lovely flower!
