The true variegated form is a 2-tone green. These plants for sale are a lime-green foliage type like the growths on the front of the plant pictured. This is a mutation from an Amami form, making it large-leaved. 'Misukage' translates to 'Shadow of a bamboo blind'. These plants have a nice color tone to the leaves and are somewhat like the Amami form as they have broad foliage. They could produce growths with 2 tone green as they continue to develop, but it is uncertain when as it seems quite random!
