A fantastic hybrid between chlorochilon and herrenhusanum. These plants are in the Catasetanae tribe and typically flower in the summer or fall. The medium to large-sized (3"-4") flowers are colored in yellow and green and have the distinct scent of banana popsicles! This plant does go dormant and loses its leaves during or after flowering requiring very little water (every 2-3 weeks when the leaves are gone) and no fertilizer until it is actively growing again. The leaves may have spots in September as this is when normal leaf drop starts to occur. This is normal and after you receive the plant you can either let them die back naturally or cut them off with a sterile scissors. If ordered late enough in the fall they may arrive with no leaves at all but still have flower spikes if listed as being in spike. These usually put out two flower spikes from the same growth often a month after the first flower spike finishes flowering.

PLEASE NOTE: As of June 26th 2021 the leaves do have some prior damage or bumpy spots on them as they developed new growths early in the year. There are no insects present on them now and the undersides look as they should. The next growths that will develop later in the year will not have the bumps on them. Please see photos for details.
