Description
*Please note: due to the large size and weight of these orchids, we will have to pack them individually. If you plan to place an order for more orchids, we ask that you place those orders separately as it is safer to pack these plants alone (the small bonus orchids will fit with these without issues, however). If you place an order for multiple plants and checkout with a Broga Tiger in your cart, we will have to recalculate shipping for the 2nd box which will have an additional fee.

These are robust plants that will produce sprays of scented flowers. Fantastic, instant-specimen plants. These make for a very showy display of flowers. The flower spikes can be 3-4 feet tall with dozens of flowers that can last for 3+ months. the current plants will flower mid to late June 2024. The 'Beverly' clone is the brighter green with dark markings in the photos. This clone is one of the best because of the contrasting vibrant colors.

These like bright light and intermediate to warm temps to do best. They make a very good South Florida outdoor orchid. If acclimated slowly, they are also capable of growing in full sun. There are lots of roots that will develop and some will be in the air as in nature that is what they do to catch leaf litter falling from above. Grammatophyllum grows high up in the canopy receiving not quite full sun as the canopy above provides dappled sunlight.

Water frequently as these are thirsty plants when in spike and during the heat of the summer. We have up-potted them from 6" to 10" pots so they have room for the next bulb.

It should be noted that without bright light, this is a difficult plant to re-bloom.
