Sarchochilus originate in Australia and New Caledonia. The hybrids are quite wonderful and have several flowers per spike that are 1/2" to 3/4" in size and are long lasting. You can grow these in a wide range of conditions and they seem to thrive regardless. Water as the potting mix approaches dryness. The flowers typically emerge in spring and last up to 3 months. Our color estimate is based upon the parents used in breeding. The actual colors may vary though as there is quite a bit of genetic drift in the hybrids. We can not guarantee the colors will come out as pictured but each one is an individual and they are all pleasing to look at.
