Description
A primary hybrid between the highly floriferous ruckeri and the near-black tigrina (also known as nigroviolacea). This plant, when crossed with nigroviolacea, is registered as Stanhopea Spark to Flame. This should have similar flowers.
This plant should produce a good flower count, especially when mature, with a great fragrance! It should also be cool to warm tolerant with the mix of these Mexican/Central American parents.
The 3" pot size seedlings are Oryzalin treated, which means there may be some tetraploid conversion plants with larger than normal flowers! We expect these to reach blooming size by 2027.
