Description
Here is a chance to own a specimen plant (about 15 years old) massive clump of Aeranthes caudata growing in an 8" basket. It is rootbound, but still happy and has not outgrown the basket yet, but is close! We are approximating about 20 or more growths are crammed into this basket. Since this is an old specimen that has been in the collection for many years, there may be a few battle scars. Nothing that stands out of the ordinary. One thing to note about dense specimens is they can get bugs deep inside. We looked and treated for bugs to be safe, and it appears to be clean.

You do not remove the flower spikes until they turn brown. They can regenerate and flower several times on the same stems. Currently, it hosts two spikes but is capable of shooting out many more at the same time. It only has two as it was drying out a bit too fast for us, and was in bright light, therefore preventing additional spike growth. Be sure to water frequently as this plant will absorb moisture fairly fast. This plant does prefer more shady conditions.
