Description
Well-established divisions of our selectedCoelogyne rochussenii native to Malaysia, Borneo, Java, Sumatra, and the Philippines. Long 2-3 foot pendulous spikes carry up to 100 green to yellow flowers with a white lip that has brown and yellow markings on it. The flowers smell wonderfully sweet like candy, semi-close each night, and reopen in the morning with the sun's arrival. These plants often flower 2-3 times per year and although the flowers only last about three weeks the display and fragrance is well worth it. These do well in south Florida or in any medium light (Phalaenopsis to Cattleya conditions).
Note that the spikes may be staked up for transit. Once you receive the plant, you can remove the clips and stakes to allow the spikes to go pendulous.
