Very rare plant native to Madagascar. We have tried for many years to raise these from seed and finally, we did it! Beautiful silver, grey-green leaves with an overlay of mahogany spots. The brilliant orange flowers are an inch in size and are numerous on spikes that are 12 to 18 inches tall. This plant does lose its leaves in winter with a tuber remaining in the pot. Water every 2-3 weeks in winter. When new growth emerges, water as mix approaches dryness. Limited availability. Seedlings to bloom within 1 to 2 years. Not difficult to grow and flower!
