This natural hybrid Habenaria originates from Southeast Asia and thrives in warm, shady environments. It features striking bluish-green leaves with white checks and spots. In late summer to fall, it produces vibrant hot pink flowers that last 6–8 weeks.

After blooming, the leaves yellow and fall, entering a dormant phase through late fall and winter. During this time, the plant appears lifeless above ground, but the underground tuber remains alive. Water sparingly during dormancy, allowing the mix to dry slightly between waterings. In spring, when new growth appears, resume more frequent watering.

With its fine root hairs, elongated tubers, and preference for intermediate warmth and filtered light, this orchid is well-suited for windowsill cultivation and is considered easy to grow indoors.
