This species is native to the montane forests of Brazil, where it grows epiphytically in shaded conditions, with intermediate to warm temperatures. This orchid stays compact and blooms with cute pink flowers! We have found that this variety is quite easy to grow and makes for a good mounted terrarium plant if there is adequate air flow. Grow in pots with good drainage or on cork slab mounts for best results.
