Native to rainforests in Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, and Ecuador. This is a compact and cute miniature Masdevallia, which is an excellent terrarium plant as these will perform best with high humidity and clean water. The other nice thing about this species is it can be grown in cool to warm conditions, unlike many other cool requiring Masdevallia.
