This species is native to Mexico, Nicaragua, and possibly Costa Rica. It is famous for its coconut cream pie scent. Some people say it smells just like Coppertone sunscreen lotion!
Grow in medium to bright light for best flowering. Likes moisture at roots. Climbing pseudobulbs with grass like leaves. These become large beautiful plants with many growths and flowers.
