This is a terrestrial species with white flowers arranged spirally. They have the sweet fragrance of vanilla and jasmine. Multiple growth plants. This plant is said to be hardy from zone 3 to zone 9. Plant in boggy conditions with semi-shade. Native to Eastern Canada and Central to Eastern North America.
