A species native to Colombia, Peru, Bolivia and Ecuador, found growing in shady and moist conditions along river canyons and dead tree stumps in the wild. This plant is tolerant of cool to warm temperatures, making it an easy grower.
When in bloom, this flower is heavily scented at night like hyacinths and fruit, and when mature can host up to a dozen flowers per bulb.
The current batch are blooming size plants that may produce flowers the spring of 2025.
