Description
A rare vanilla species native to western and southern Madagascar in seasonally dry, deciduous woods on sandy soils at elevations around 200 meters, making them warm to hot growing plants. These produce climbing grey/green stems that can root onto whatever they are climbing on. These are staked with a piece of bamboo that they will root on to. This plant need to reach around 3 feet in length to be able to produce flowers. We expect them to reach blooming size in 2027.
The current batch is about 6 to 8 inches in length. (Limited availability)
