Description
A native to the Amazon Basin of Brazil, Surinam, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. This plant loves moisture and does best in New Zealand sphagnum moss. This is also a fast-growing orchid which can often need repotting in less than one year!
This South American native is the largest-flowered species in its genus, with flowers reaching 3" across.
It is also accompanied by a nice and light fragrance.
