This species is native to the cloud forests of Peru, Bolivia, and Brazil, and is cherished for its colorful, highly fragrant blooms with a sweet hyacinth scent. It is also a key parent in nearly all Zygopetalum hybrids to date!

These plants grow quickly when kept evenly moist. We recommend New Zealand sphagnum moss and very clean water for the best results.

Our current batch consists of massive, healthy plants (as pictured). Flowers twice per year!
