Both parents are 50% Paph. sanderianum. Oberhausens Diament is primulinum x sanderianum and Paph. Fumimasa Sugiyama is platyphyllum x sanderium. This hybrid is sure to produce some elegant flowers with long petals. Due to the primulinum background this hybrid will be a lot more vigorous than the pure Paph. sanderianum. The picture shows the first plant to bloom from this hybrid. The flowers turned out very big, with flowers being up to 20 cm across!
