An easy-to-grow variety. This Maudiae-type hybrid is seed-grown, making each plant's flowers unique. The example photos show the range of patterns and colors within this hybrid. The mottled foliage is also an attractive quality of this variety. Paphs bloom once per growth, and will soon produce a new growth once the blooming one has finished (often even before they bloom the next growths have emerged)

Grow in low light, as these are shade-loving plants. Keep moist at the roots since Paphiopedilum are terrestrial Southeast Asian orchids.

*Double-planted arrangements are set in sphagnum moss inside a plastic liner. Water sparingly when the surface moss (beneath the green sheet moss) begins to feel dry. Typically, about 1/4 cup of water will keep the arrangement hydrated for up to two weeks.
