This is a second generation Paph. sanderianum cross. We crossed Paph Fumimasa Sugiyama (= Paph. sanderianum x platyphyllum) which has long pendulant petals with up to 5 - 6 flowers per stem, with Paph. sanderianum. Expect the flowers to look very similar to Paph. sanderianum with long pendulant petals (perhaps up to 100 cm long!), but have more vigor, and with flatter dorsals, and slightly larger pouches. The photo shows the first seedling of this cross that bloomed.
