This is a great brachypetalum hybrid with lots of leucochilum influence. This cross is over 75% leucochilum, but doesn't need to grow hot all the time like leucochilum because of the bellatlum mixed in the background, making for a great compact grower with big flowers (about 7 x 7 cm on the first blooms, with potential for larger flowers as they age).

We grow these in a small pine bark mix. Brachypetalum do best root bound, so we keep them in the smallest pot possible.

If you do not have good air flow, water from below to prevent leaf rot. This batch is very rot resistant, and we have had no plants perish from it.

Grow in low light with intermediate to warm temperatures. Water once to twice per week, depending on your environment.
